We focus on making biofuels as accessible as possible, and continue to enhance the facilities and processes needed for effective biofuel storage, terminal and transportation services.
In order to grow and seek even greater efficiencies, Green Plains Partners utilizes the opportunities within the Green Plains network and pursues organic growth and acquisitions from third parties.
Biofuel Storage
Our network of biofuel storage facilities includes 29 locations at or near our parent company’s 11 operating biorefineries across Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and Tennessee as well as our parent’s non-operational facility in Virginia. Combined, these facilities have a throughput capacity sufficient to support our parent’s approximately 1 billion gallons of annual production capacity, and are located adjacent to major rail lines.
Our biofuel storage assets have a combined capacity of approximately 25.9 million gallons with the ability to efficiently and effectively store and load railcars and tanker trucks with the biofuels produced at Green Plains’ biorefineries.
Biofuel Terminals
We provide terminal services and logistics solutions at fuel terminal facilities we own and operate through our wholly owned subsidiary, BlendStar LLC. These facilities feature fuel holding tanks and access to major rail lines for transporting ethanol or other fuels. Combined, Green Plains Partners’ fuel terminal facilities have a current total storage capacity of approximately 6.9 million gallons.
Transportation
Our transportation assets include a leased railcar fleet of approximately 2,500 railcars dedicated to transporting products under commercial agreements with our parent, Green Plains.
Efficient and effective biofuel storage and logistics.
